Orphans and Pieces

In an attempt to somewhat empty my orphan bin, I am making Love Quilts. I pieced three tops together one day. This was great for my imagination. These will make a child very happy.

The one above is my favorite. Its much brighter in person.
The bin is still almost full but not "jam packed". I am half way done with another orphan top today.

  1. What brilliant designs & colors, I favor the lower one, also. Someone is going to be very happy & snuggly warm ... TTFN ~MArydon

  4. Absolutely gorgeous Frogquilter *VBS* I'm just tickled pink that you decided to play with the bits and pieces and orphan blocks. There are lots more for inspiration over at Riding the Orphan Train. Stop by sometime and see what other quilters have done with theirs *VBS* And I love that you call them Love Quilts! Hugs, Finn

  5. You are making a lot of great quilts out of orphan stuff. And your quilting is really neat. The Chinese gardens are really neat too. I look at everything differently since I started appliquing. Some great designs in nature and building, all over really.
