MAM's gone wild

This is the pile I started with yesterday afternoon..............

Working until 11pm last night and most of today ... I only have this pile of crumbs left.

and the good news is that there are 73 blocks completed, some 10 in progress on the ironing board. These are 8 inch unfinished blocks.

I hope I get my rowenta back from the repair service soon. I have filled my little iron almost everytime I needed to iron...

Snowman Wall Hanging, New love top, Sebastian

I have been trying to clean up and out the sewing room. All my backs that were on the floor are now used or in the backing closet. I cut down all my left over batting and used them in a different quilt. I'll show that next time provided I get them finished.

I had an extra snowman block and extra 9 patch blocks so here is a cute wall hanging for next year.

My latest creation - a new love top. Kind of different like me.

And last but not least a picture of Sebastian. My cutey pie.

Love Quilts, Sebastian

The quilt started with all my patriotic nickel squares matched up with a white and blue paint drops fabric. Its quilted with arrows going in all directions.
A spider block quilt, quilted using computerized panto with loops and swirls. (Black thread).

And lastly but not leastly a picture of Sebastian. A little out of focus but I still like it. He's so cute and loveable. He had a parasitic shot Saturday (just in case he has parasitic lung disease). Still waiting for the blood test results.

Pet Quilts / Sick Kitty

These quilts are the ones I completed for the local Vet office in town. There will be more in the future.

Sebastian has been coughing. Mr F Q took him to the vet in December and was put on antibiotics and steroids. He improved for a short while but started coughing even more. I took him back today. The xrays of his chest are not good. Multiple blood tests will be run to get a better diagnosis. I'm hoping he will be alright.

Equipment Problems and Snowman Quilt

I have to give my Side Saddle representatives Kudos. They came Christmas morning to fix my side saddle. How's that for "SERVICE". You can find their products here. My thanks to Jennifer and Dave for rescuing me.

Here is my beat up Rowenta Master that is still working, but for how long?

I thought I would buy myself a new one for Christmas. I bought aRowenta DG 5030 Steam Generator. I was so excited to get it out of the box and set it up. Disappointment.... It didn't get hot enough to iron cotton AND the water poured out of the iron when steaming. I contacted Rowenta and I will mail it to a service center for resolution.

For you cat lovers here is a picture of Sebastian sleepily laying on the bed. Doing what he does best.

I've been trying to finish a few of my projects... I got out all my snowman blocks I received in a Snowman block exchange. I am planning on putting a red snowman border and calling it a flimsy. There was a block that was put into a wall hanging. I'll show that next time.

I'll try to get back to posting at least every week.
