Equipment Problems and Snowman Quilt

I have to give my Side Saddle representatives Kudos. They came Christmas morning to fix my side saddle. How's that for "SERVICE". You can find their products here. My thanks to Jennifer and Dave for rescuing me.

Here is my beat up Rowenta Master that is still working, but for how long?

I thought I would buy myself a new one for Christmas. I bought aRowenta DG 5030 Steam Generator. I was so excited to get it out of the box and set it up. Disappointment.... It didn't get hot enough to iron cotton AND the water poured out of the iron when steaming. I contacted Rowenta and I will mail it to a service center for resolution.

For you cat lovers here is a picture of Sebastian sleepily laying on the bed. Doing what he does best.

I've been trying to finish a few of my projects... I got out all my snowman blocks I received in a Snowman block exchange. I am planning on putting a red snowman border and calling it a flimsy. There was a block that was put into a wall hanging. I'll show that next time.

I'll try to get back to posting at least every week.

  1. Hmm -- irons seem to be a real problem lately. I'm thinking I'll find a dry iron next and use a sprinkler bottle when I need to. Sometimes I wonder if that wouldn't be a better option. It gets awfully expensive throwing out all these steam irons that invariably seem to die just after their warranty is up.
