Crumb hearts

Aren't these cute? I didn't have enough blocks to do a lap quilt so I have raided the string drawer. More to come.

While I was working in the flower beds this little toad was watching me.

I hope you are having a wonderful Easter.

Weekend update

Friday morning I spent piecing pink crumbs. Here they are before squaring them up. I'll show the finished blocks in another post.

The other brick top with a border.

I am to be a Great Aunt in May...so I put together a little quilt for the baby girl. These started with crumb blocks too.

I quilted it this morning. Lots of texture.

The back.....

Last but not least, I used the Deep Blue quilting circle templates. I love, love, love them. They are SO REASONABLE in cost. Check them out at www.deepbluetemplates.com. I will be ordering the rest of the set!

Brick top

Here is the completed top I showed in the last post. I used some wild border fabric.

I put together another today top today. No pinks in it. As soon as I decide on borders and sew them on I will post.

Mail Call and ....

I bought these circle ruler templates from Deep Blue. The price was amazing...$13.00. FOR ALL!

If they work out I will get the rest of them.

Another scrappy quilt in progress.

Taming the 2.5 strip bin

I can get the lid to shut now on the 2.5 strip bin. Still have along way to go...here is what I have been making.

More scrappy trips around the world blocks (12).

I have a pile of nine patch blocks that are turning into sisters choice blocks. I have 9 completed so far.

I recently acquired some large binding clips. They work real good for keeping all the blocks together.

After this effort is complete, I think I have to tame the 2 inch bin.
Happy stitching!

Leader Ender Update

I have quilted each of the Leader Ender quilts.

This one has free form feathers.

The back was pieced as I didn't have enough of the blue fabric. I think it gives it personality.

This one is quilted with baptist fans.

There are still more bags of leader enders. I have moved on to reducing the 2.5 inch strip bin. I need for the lid to close. I'm working on another scrappy quilt top.

More later...
