North Carolina. Active quilter and long armer. If it’s scrappy I love it!

Before and After

My ironing board desperately needed refreshing. I finally found a cotton home dec remnant for a few dollars. I should be able to get at least three covers from this remnant.

Ooooooh pretty.

Finally a flimsy

Finishing this top today was my goal. I have picked out a backing fabric so I am all ready to machine quilt when the urge strikes.

Benjamin Briggs Blocks

Block one of the Benjamin Briggs quilt. I have been doing a lot of this especially when the power was out for 12 hours. This one is done except for the center. I am thinking about putting a bird in the center (just to be me).

The start of my second... All needle turn appliqué.

A view out my window through the blinds. See the cardinals in the tree?

Back to appliqué while watching the Olympics.

Another one done

I was up late last night finishing up this QOV. I used a very light blue thread and a panto called bubbles. I felt like doing something different and this fit perfect.

The back has thank you fabric.

I sewed on the binding today. Now it will go to someone else who will stitch it down.

Hope you got out and enjoyed the sun today.

QOV Weekend

Dee D made these lovely pillow cases.

Suzanne's top quilted.

My different QOV.

This one is a extra special one.

My feet are propped up and under a quilt. Dinner is in the oven and I am so tired. Hope you had a productive weekend.

QOV Friday

Judy T turned in the scrappy quilt on the left. Mine is on the right and needs binding. Both are quilted by me. Beautiful!

Kathy finished this beautiful top and mastered curves.

Here are the left over cuts from making kits at QOV retreat in January. I was given the opportunity to make QOV top(s) from these parts. Ooh.

We sewed these blocks during our sew in and Joanne took the remaining pieces to cut more parts. Last night I trimmed the pin wheel blocks and the ideas are beginning to flow.

I hope you get to sew today.
