Celtic Solstice Quilted

This weekend I focused on getting Celtic Solstice quilted. I free formed feathers all over the top. It was a marathon to get it done. Halfway through I did a little gardening, clearing all the wooded flowers from last year. I also started prepping a new area for a small veggie garden.

Inside picture this morning when the light was perfect for showing all the quilting texture.

Outside in the screen porch.

With back exposed, more orange. a perfect complement to the front.

This quilt will be traveling to someone very special. I know they read the blog...

As for today I am slow stitching outside in the sunshine enjoying the warmth and blue sky.

  1. Wow! You were super busy. How did you ever fit in all the gardening with quilting that beauty? Please send some of that energy to south Florida... I need it!

  2. Beautiful job on C.S.! Whoever your mystery recipient is, they are very lucky to receive this!

  3. Oo Oo, is it for me? A souvenir from our trip together with Bonnie to Ireland? You are toooooo sweet! Probably not huh, but I can dream can't I? I know, you expect me to make my own.........still have two bags of scraps with your name on them, although I had a visitor who tried to claim them this week......

  4. Absolutely gorgeous! I just love the deep color combo that brings out the pattern so beautifully.

Gribbit - I'd love to hear from you.
