My Special Day

It's my birthday and I've been showered with cards and beautiful flowers.

Waves of Joy is Quilted

I finished waves of joy late this morning. The quilting machine tested my patience today, but I won in the end.

Postage stamp blocks , Waves of Joy

In the past year or so I have been cutting 1.5 inch squares with the intent to create a postage stamp quilt.  I've seen a few in blog land so I started.  I have two blocks completed.

This is the quilt I am making for my grandson.  He will be going to college this fall.  I wanted him to have a quilt for his bed.
