Quilting Today

This top made it to the long arm this morning and didn't take long to quilt.  The binding is on and waiting for me to hand stitch.

I had the perfect fabric but it was not Long or wide enough. So I sewed an inset piece of fabric. Now it appears to have a cross. Perfect! The binding is the same pink.

Orphans Happily Together

I sewed this pouch a few weeks ago and finally got it quilted. It will hold the foot pedal for my feather weight machine so that the machine bed does not get scratched. Hey I'll use any excuse to sew!
My orphans are playing so nicely together.  I love how this quilt came together.  Don't worry, I have more to bring together.  I quilted this one with the baptist fan panto and YLI polished poly thread in a light grey color.

Quilters of SC Retreat - My Class

I taught my stain glass quilt pattern this past Friday and Saturday at the White Oak Baptist Center. There were 14 tables full of fabric strings. By Friday evening it looked like a tornado had come through lol. We all had such a fun time. The symphony of sewing machines humming along was magical.

Last Weekend Update

Due to email issues and limited wi-fi I was unable to post these. Enjoy and sorry about the orientation.
This is the class I am teaching at the quilters of SC guild retreat. I had a wonderful group of ladies who excelled in all aspects of making this quilt. They are still in the room sewing.

Bear Paw Flimsy

I finished my bear paw today. Many decisions were made and then changed, ripped and resewn. I'm happy with it overall.  Maestro is getting close to check out all the different fabrics. Lucy is doing her job in the last few pictures. Good girls

My latest accomplishments.

This is the top I put together last weekend in the mountains do NC. It only needs a black box border. A,good friend has already claimed it.

I made a quilt for a co worker and he sent me a picture of his daughter on the quilt. So sweet.

The latest orphan block quilt. I love it.

The scrappy back.
