Busy

I've been sewing almost all day getting lots done.

This crochet rug has been done for a couple weeks.  I have been using it as a bath mat for the shower.

This quilt will go to a friend battling breast cancer.

This quilt is being donated for a fund raiser event for abused children. The theme of the gala is Be a Star.

this next quilt was quilted today and will be given to the quild as a love quilt.

I have another quilt loaded but it will get quilted tomorrow.

Weekend Update

Last weekend I assembled a orphan block top but did not post it. So here it is.

My new scrap project is mini rails that finish at three inches.  I have been gathering lots of scraps and  cutting to one and a half inch through my GO.  Makes quick cutting.  I will need a bazillion for a top but that's ok.  My scraps never seem to get total under control.

On To Another Love Quilt and ...

I gathered my 8.5 inch blocks and assembled it. Right now I am auditioning border fabrics. I think I am going to use the brown with aqua polka dots.

I got my templates for the pickle dish and could not wait to play.

Happily Scrapily

I am on orphan control lately.  I took all of my scrap four patch blocks (I thought it was all of them) and added some wild sashing.  The picture doesn't show how fabulous it is.  Wow, makes me smile.

After I assembled this top I gathered all my orphans and..... Lots of them.  So it was time to get organized by size.  So they were sorted and bagged by size.  Now I can concentrate on getting them used up.

Maestro is making sure I do it correctly.
