Weekly Fun

As usual I have been having fun stitching blocks. I received A couple of new go dies and just had to play. First up are the Pat Sloan 182 Day Solstice quilt along.

Here are my latest churn dash blocks.

These are the box kite blocks made with the GO die. Fast to cut and fast to assemble. They didn't all square up nice so I dressed them up. You will see those in the next post.

  1. Lots of blocks! I get disappointed when blocks won't square up nicely - working with a set of those right now, actually. . . :D

  2. Look at you go!
The Box Kite is a really fun shape--makes a nice, graphic statement!

  3. Your blocks look great. I have an issue sometimes with die cut blocks not squaring up nicely also. I suspect it is because I may have cut the fabric off-grain.
