Loud Piano, Quilt Tops, Kitty

I've been sewing up a storm. A love quilt that is 2.5 X 7 inch strips sewn together.

One of the latest of the new kitty who still doesn't have a name. Mr FQ needs to know the sex first. ??? The kitty will be going to the Vet tomorrow. He already has a personality - devilish.

Judy - Here is the completed top. This spider top sat alone for a year. Poor thing. I believe it's happy now. It's VERY LOUD! Can you hear it playing?
I like it.

What can you make with all those pieces that aren't quite 2.5 square but 2.5 wide? Sew them all together, add a light colored background. I have the next baby quilt when I need it. This is one of my favorite quilts.

I'll be quilting up some small animal quilts today amongst other things. I've been working on a diamond scrap quilt that is looking good.
"If you make a mistake - use it as creativity. " It works!

Adopted, Baby Quilt, Eptworth Quilt

My first big news is that we've been adopted. A few weeks ago I was going to my car to make a trip to Charleston when I heard a loud meowing. Long story short he was in the engine. It took an hour and a half to get him out. Cute kitty!

The first quilt with the blue border is my Epworth Childrens home quilt for one of the cottages.

Next quilt is for a co-worker who delivered early. The baby weighs almost enough to go home. Its 30's with brights.

Keep Stitching,

Visiting Family and quilts

I've been in Indiana for a week now. First for work, now for leisure. I happened to re-acquaint myself with a quilt I made in 2002. As I look over the loved and worn quilt, I realize that my quilt journey has progressed from 0 to as I am right now. I look at how I had made that quilt and think of all the learning and doing since 2002. That's a lot of quilts.

My grand kids here enjoyed their "new" quilts; the colts quilt and the wild colorful wave quilt. I know they will be loved and cherished.

I am looking forward to getting home and stitch a few. I have almost finished all the hand work I brought. I also have a new machine to pick up....:-))

Keep the quilt journey going and sorry for no pictures.
