A Flimsy

I finished the top I have been working on, yesterday during the sewing marathon. It measures 54 X 61.5.

These little blocks finish at 2 inches. I plan to use this as a couch cuddle quilt.

Sewathon Friday

We had a fabulous day!!! sewing, sewing and more sewing.

Kay enjoying the day.

Can you tell Margret did not, want her picture taken..

Me happy to be sewing.

Now for quilt candy...

Almost finished in this picture. I added one more row around so,that the dark points would stand out.

Margret finished this top. The picture does not show it well. Much better in person.

Kay had a couple finishes. This one was made out of old fabrics and was SO SOFT and cuddly.

A large one here. I love the soft colors in this quit.

Hope your thirteenth was productive.

Feather practice ...

And getting comfortable using rulers.

I took a feather class with Karen Kendo a week ago and have been practicing. After a few panels of muslin I loaded some small quilts to do MORE PRACTICE!

This one has feathers in the solid purple sections and ruler piano keys for the rest.

Next up is all feathers with ruler stabilization.

And the back

These X blocks have been sitting in a pile. Sewn together and moved to a different pile lol.
