In The Studio
The other day I wanted to sew and use up some of the MANY block parts. I decided on a pattern from Bonnie Hunters new book called sand castles. I had 3.5 inch four patch blocks available. See them in the bin, so many. And I had enough neutral strings for this quilt. But my four patch units were 3.5 inches. So I sized all the units up and got started. It didn’t take long before I had many blocks completed. There are 3 - 4 on the cutting board waiting to be squared up to 14.5 inches. It won’t be long before I have a quilt top and I will have to pick another design that uses my pieces parts.
