I am closing in on having enough blocks for my hexi flowers. I have started to trim them all to 7.25 and make a four patch the same size. I am loving how this is turning out. The colors are truer in the first photo. It seems very soothing and just as I pictured in my mind.
North Carolina. Active quilter and long armer. If it’s scrappy I love it!

Hexies and more
The weather here in North Carolina has been beautiful and better now that the temperatures are lower. I have my house open and fans running. The kitties sure do like it. I had screens installed in the main area and it's a constant battle to see who gets by the screen door.
I have started a new hexi project. So far so good.

I have started a tulip garden. Yes I know one block has a lead turned the wrong way.
Speaking of beautiful my yard is fabulous with something blooming all the time.

Sunday Therapy
I started my Sunday morning with bread baking. YUM!!!!

I love to bake and you just can't beat anything made from scratch.
Last night I quilted another top, with feathers. A very feminine looking quilt enhanced with feathers. Some areas have "creative stitching" and that makes it unique. The long patchwork strips came from a scrap bag from Joyce. She is so good about keeping me in scraps. I really appreciate it!!!! I added the smaller strips and the border. I love this creativity in making beautiful quilts from your scraps.

This one has the binding stitched on.
A close up

Today I stitched the binding on this top and another.

Here is Blackie checking out the progress of my hexie project. I am really pushing to get it finished as I want to get back to my appliqué projects.
Hope each of you got quilt therapy this weekend.
