Cutting AccuQuilt left overs and more

This next quilt is for a coworker who retired last week.  I'm going to miss him at work as he was a joy to work with.
Tackled a big bag of scraps from the AccuQuilt cutter. This was two days of cutting. Feels so good to have it done.
I will be linking up to Kathy Quilts for some slow stitching on this large queen size T Shirt Quilt.
As you can see blogger had its way with arranging the pictures in this post. Oh well.

From bags to flimsy

The latest churn dash blocks which are my leaders and enders for sewing.
These next two are each approximately half of the blocks in the bags. The baby rail fence will be made bigger most likely for a full size quilt. The Carolina chain may be two lap quilts.

Retreat with the group

I arrived mid afternoon yesterday and am having a great time. Sew and eat, what could be better? I sewed the borders on En Provence, assembled a crumb top(one bags of blocks gone. Also my leader ender project is churn dash blocks. I kitted them up earlier this week. Today should be more productive.

T Shirt Quilt, drunkards path

This T shirt has been what I have been working on this weekend. My patience was tested many times but I persevered and finished the quilting. Today I need to make binding and sew it on.
I dug out one bag of many (no surprise there) and am sewing them into a flimsy.

Checking In

I have been busy.  Purging and general cleaning of my sewing room.  Also working on a T Shirt commission with a looming dead line.  But in between I've got some other things sewn.

Pat Sloan 182 day Solstice quilt along.

150 Canadian quilt along.

Dee - do you recognize this back ground fabric in the star? It's one of the fabrics we split in Orangeburg.

More scrappy churn dash blocks.

More cute churn dashes etc

I took today off from work to catch up.  I started making rows of the latest T Shirt top.  I have been assembling one row a day.

Other things included cleaning my sewing room as it had gotten out of hand.  I can only take so much clutter in the sewing room.

I used all the precut churn dash pieces and made some others as well.
