Stitching

It's been a while since I posted but rest assured that I have been stitching.

I saw this eye fooler block on someones blog (can't remember whose) and had to try it. I didn't have a pattern. The blocks in the block are 4.5 unfinished. I figured out all the pieces and sizes. I like it alot and can tell these blocks will be addictive. Needless to say I will be making more for a quilt top.

Next up I found a bag of 7.5 X 2 inch strips. I added some cut up white on white strips. Added sashing and borders and now it's a top. This will make someone a nice comfy lap quilt. It will go in the top bin ready for quilting.

And last but not least here are all my flower garden blocks. I have been working on these in the evenings. A little progress most every night really adds up.

  2. I was working on that same Eye Fooler design last year as a leader ender. Got quite a bit done before it got set aside for other projects. I need to get back to it.
Nice Coin quilt. Good job on the flower garden blocks--that one takes a lot of patience.
