Strip update and QOV

Here are the two, two inch stripies I started last weekend. It was enough to make two,decent size quilt tops.

The binding is made and sewn on. I'll be stitching it on in the evenings.

Weekend Update

Have two QOV quilted, binding on and stitching it down by hand.



This one screamed custom so I attempted custom work and lots of ruler work. Was good experience for me. I'm getting used to using the rulers. I really enjoyed quilting this top.


This is what I am currently attacking. The over flowing two inch strip drawer. It's out of control. I may have another post today!

First QOV

I am putting my time waiting for the satellite repair person to arrive to good use. I pieced the QOV and I hope to get it all quilted today.

There is a new roof on our house so the satellite dish needs a major tweak.


I am using the stars and loops panto.


While snapping pictures I got one of Sebastian with his cute pink tongue.

Friday Fun

I have been working on this bag of accuquilt triangles. I think I've got,it down to halfway.


The sewn pile showing and what these will become. scrappy pin wheels.


I got out one of my UFO's to finish. I'm happy to say that it's now a flimsy. This was a class I took years ago at retreat.

Pretty in pink

The crumb hearts are now a top. I like it so much I might do it in another color, like purple.


Another brick top so quilted. I used 80/20 batting and a very gold orange thread.


The back with a inset as I didn't have enough of the blue fabric.
