A Sneak Peek

Here is a sneak peek of my grandsons quilt.  It's not finished yet but close.  I want it to be small enough so he can drag it around.  Mason is due in June.  I have added one border since this picture was taken and am debating on one more.  There is a mixture of everything in this top.

 The kitties are a year plus old now.  Remember they adopted us last year.  They are family, keep us busy and provide lots of entertainment.

Our monthly get together was fun.  We are designing on the fly the left over parts from kit cuttings.

Pictured on the chair are two quilts that will be presented in May to two veterans I work with.

A couple of LOVE quilts

I quilted these yesterday.  I am now up to date on love quilts.  I will be able to turn them in on Thursday.  Yay!

Creative Houses

 I surprised my hubs with a visit from his daughter and kids.  It was a whorl wind three days of visiting,meeting and having fun.  Tina brought a wooden house for each of us to paint.  She brought all the paints, markers, brushes and other items for a day of being creative.  This was right up my alley.  The first one is mine which has a quilt theme.  Blogger is being difficult.  The fancy houses are made by women and the plain ones are by men.  What's up with that?

I finished the last row and assembled the rows and borders. I'm trying to decide if it needs another border. Any opinions?

Of Course I Sewed ...

I had the string blocks from the retreat this year. I started these two tops and finished them up last night. I need to have them ready for a presentation in May while on travel. Enjoy.
