Seeing Stars
I have been making string stars the last few days. These blocks all come from the 7.5 inch string blocks. All the others (and there are lots more) are 8.5 inches. Add to this my effort to reduce the amount of 2.5 inch strips and we have funky stars. There are four more to assemble. Since they are so wild I'm thinking about sashings and connector blocks. They are beautiful. This picture does not show them well.

I think they look very pretty, even if you don't think the photo does them justice. Makes me ALMOST want to pull out my ancient string block UFO. I love the look of strings but don't enjoy doing them. : )
