I quilted this top yesterday afternoon in a burst of energy before dinner time. I went with simple fun circles of different sizes. Two different fabrics for the back.
This quilt will be one of my Quilty Hugs to give at our next chemo session.

Holiday Sewing
I have been steadily sewing away my time off from work. Recently I watched a video from Missouri Quilt Company. She called these blocks Jumping Jacks. I started making these blocks but then found I like them better a different way. The first photo shows a set of smaller blocks, each quarter block is four inches. The block size is eight inches.
. It will be a Here is a baby quilt that I finished, putting the binding on by matching and hand stitching the label. It will be a gift for a lady at work.
These next blocks are the original one I started with. I got the seam ripper out and ripped the center seam, then resewed them.
The newest batch.

Round 5 Time for Joy
It's chemo round five for my husband and that means I give a quilt. Today's quilt is a scrappy trip around the world. The recipient was an older women having her first out patient chemo session. She cried. Then later in talking with her husband he also started crying. My heart was filled at that point. 🐸

A QOV in progress
This QOV is quilting this morning as I do other things in my sewing room. She did not have any organizations in her area so I volunteered to finish and donate to our local QOV chapter. She was so generous to include the backing and fabric for the binding. There was also some piano key blocks that she tried to use as a border. It didn't work for her. I am using them as orphans in a chemo quilt (Quilty Hugs). So win win all around!
This top came to me from
http://vroomansquilts.blogspot.com . She had done Saphire Stars which was a mystery hosted by Kevin . I will show the completed quilting later today. 🐸

The Left Eze Euler
On Ringo Lake step 4 was released this morning. So after work I began cutting the aqua squares and then the brown triangles. Some of you know that I am left handed living in a right handed world. I recently acquired the Left Eze Ruler and I love it. Make cutting so easy. It was created by A Left Handed Quilter. Kitty can be reached here
More progress to come later in the weekend. 🐸

Two More Given
Last night was our monthly quilt quild meeting. I had received two requests for quilts. They each agreed to sew down the binding. One will go to a newly diagnosed cancer patient and the other will go to a lady going through some difficult times. Enjoy 🐸
