How March Slipped by

I spent a week in the outer banks of NC in a little town called Frisco. The group had rented a six bedroom house right on the beach. Needless to say all I did was stitch, sew and get in a few walks on the beach.

I finished my Floral Motif Sampler. Beautiful if I say so myself!

I also caught up on my 4.5 Little blocks.

I am still a week or two behind but I will catch up.

I brought my pineapple blocks to make a top. I found a few more blocks so it will grow a little. These blocks all came from the bulging 1.5 inch strip drawer.  I used Conquering Mount scrap mores tutorial on Utube. No special ruler was needed.

One of my cross stitch walls.

That is my update for now. Spring is happening slowly in the mountains and it’s going to be spectacular. 🐸🐸🐸

  1. Glad to hear you had a great week off. The embroidery sampler is so beautiful. Will it be framed too or will become something else? Love your Pineapple Quilt. So many little pieces! Wow. Great job! ;^)

  2. That is a gorgeous sampler--looks like a lot of work! The Little Blocks look great!
Seems rare these days to see a pineapple quilt that was made without the help of a specialty ruler. Good job.

  4. The sampler is spectacular! I have been looking at that chart and am trying to decide if I want to buy it. Anne The Proper Stitcher is working on it now and each motif she adds just draws me in. Your sampler wall is so beautiful! Looks like you will have to make some room for the floral sampler!
