More Dear Jane Blocks

Here are some more Dear Jane blocks. I have been steadily working on them. I am enjoying the challenge of each block.
Today I am packing for a work trip to Denver CO. I see lots of hand stitching there. Yay! Frog Quilter

Playing with Arrow Heads and ...

I woke up this morning knowing I wanted to do a semi custom quilt job. I went through the QOVs I had and selected this one. I loaded it up and had the best time. I need to load it again and quilt the other borders. Sure am pleased with it so far.
And because blogger is not cooperating, here are my arrow head blocks I tried out. It is a flimsy now, thinking about borders.
Here is the back of the QOV. YUM!!!
D Oh and I also completed some dear Jane blocks too. Frog Quilter

Sewing and Quilting

This weekend I have done a lot of sewing and quilting.  This is a QOV  where I added texture.  I'm pleased with result.  Maestro is inspecting and has given her approval lol.

The back shows lots of texture.

A love quilt to turn in at the next guild meeting.

I decided to purchase the Dear Jane software. It is well, worth it in my opinion.

The first block was a paper pieced one called pinwheel gone awry or something similar.
I hope your weekend included some stitching. Frog Quilter

Orphan Round Up

This first one had everything inside the inner blue border. I added the rest to bring it up to size.
This one would make a great guy quilt. I'm not quite finished with it. It needs to be a little bit longer.

I have taken the Dear Jane plunge. In indigo and Snow White. These are the blocks so far.

A strippy enlarged that would be perfect for a little girl. I put this one on the frame today and quilted it. So pretty. I still have more blocks to make more quilts. ThE pile has gone down a little bit.

For the kitty fans. This is Mr. Tale waiting for me to turn out the light, bed time.

Great Weekend

This past weekend was QSC Spring meeting which means girls weekend.  There was lots of talking sewing and fun.  I did manage to sew 34 mile a minute blocks in the hotel room.

This quilt was a secret project until Saturday.  This is the 2015 scholarship quilt.  Tickets will be sold until next year.  Love this quilt!

I pushed to get this top together this morning. There is one block that needs to be rotated.
