North Carolina. Active quilter and long armer. If it’s scrappy I love it!

Sunny Thursday

I quilted this top the other day and the back is short.  How did that happen?  Ugh.  It is still on the long arm waiting for me ...

Some turkey tracks, a Bonnie Hunter pattern.

A wild and crazy top I completed but never posted.

  1. That has got to be maddening to come up short on the backing.
I really like the Turkey Red blocks. Are you making the whole quilt, or are these leftovers from making it?
I think that sashing on the last quilt (that you thought might be too busy, right?) really served to unify the quilt. Looks good to me.

  2. Somehow coming up short on the backing always happens when you least expect it - but I know that you'll figure something out. Your turkey track blocks are pretty (Squirrel!- LOL)- and your 4-patch one will make a wonderful Quilty Hug - ;))
