Ready to quilt

The couch cover is ready to quilt. I'm excited to get this done and added to my decor.

The Sun is out!

And I'm so happy to see it. The cats are also enjoying it too. They get cranky with gloomy weather, similar to humans. Seeing the sun light come through this window in my stair way is fabulous.

It occurred to me the other day that I could make a cover for my couch rather than use towels.  The cats sometimes get sick and this has preserved my couch all these years.  So I started it yesterday.  

Kitty here is the quilting I did on the Kaffe quilty hugs top.

These are pictures of a Heart Builders quilt that is finished except for the label and a wash. I am finishing up a lot of loose ends. Move them along!

Oh, the fabric

I didn't realize just how much fabric I had. When you get it all in one area it's massive.

I managed to quilt a quilty hug, this one was made by K of A Left Handed Quilter. All these fabulous fabrics are Kaffe and beautiful!

I've been doing some decorating and arranging my space. It's feeling very homey.

These are the unearthed quilt tops I have found. I know there are more, lots more.

Signs of Spring

Sitting on my porch enjoying the sun shine, frogs croaking, and the gentle breeze, ahhhh!

Up and Running

I think I might need another couch with all these love able kitties. What you see is four out of five cats wanting to be near me. I quilted a QOV last night and all is well with the table and machine.
