Activity in the studio

I quilted up this top yesterday that is going to a 7 month old boy who had heart surgery on Monday.  I took a fat quarter package from the Fat Quarter Shop that was on the shelf.  The back is from a bolt of animal fabric that I thought the baby would have fun looking at.  I stubbed in a piece of orange to make it wide enough.

Leave it to blogger to arrange them incorrectly.

A couple of pictures from last night as a few of my cats snuggled with me.  Lucy is on the left and Sebastian on the right.

  1. Cute quilt! I love the Baptist Fan quilting - so soft and snuggly - just like your fur babies. Love the fabrics in the last two photos - I have those same fabrics in my stash - ;))
