On the quilting front, I have been steadily sewing. I have kept up with my sew alongs. I am doing the snow flake sew along from the Fat Quarter shop. I think there is one more clue and then I can assemble the top. Here is my design wall and it’s pretty full.
I am also doing the sew along using a Jolly Bar 2 book, also from the Fat Quarter Shop. One of these projects needs to finish up so I have more room on the design wall.
I have been sewing my leader Ender blocks from the past year and this is the layout. There are MANY MORE to include but I’m loving how it is progressing.
Lucy quickly approved the design.
Here are the blocks from this years leader ender challenge. To date I have 49 done. I am using mainly batiks and trying to use all the little pieces. Mine are the six inch version, so cute.
The garden continues to amaze me.
Stay safe in these times of Covid 19. My DILs father has it and she is sick. She keeps hoping that it is a regular virus.... in the meantime I have my GD here for a week and that will continue until her Mom is better. Such strange times that are happening.
Love, love your design wall. All these different blocks together make a very interesting design. Enjoy! ;^)
ReplyDeleteLovely work on the design wall, Liz.
ReplyDeleteMy sis-in-law's uncle has Covid 19 and we are really worried about him.
Pretty little blocks and flowers!
ReplyDeleteYour design wall is so fun to study.
ReplyDeleteVery fun looking leader/ender quilt.
What is the purple thing--obviously something I have never grown, because I don't recognize it.
New toys are always fun! Your design wall blocks are terrific - and I'm curious about that purple thing, too - what is it? Sorry to hear about your DIL and her father - but glad that you can spend time with your GD until her Mom is better - ;))
ReplyDeletePower washers are fun! I power washed the loose paint off my poured foundation two summers ago. It took 4 1/2 hours, but it got off all the dirt and paint. I repainted the foundation and it still looks as good as the day I painted it. I owe that to a clean, prepared surface. The garden pictures are wonderful! It is so hot here that I cannot water enough. My best to your DIL and her father. This virus stuff is just awful!
ReplyDeleteYou really have a lot going on at the same time! Good luck with all your projects. At least we quilters have a great way to spend our extra time during the pandemic!
