I am really pleased with how this top came out. I've spent most of the weekend getting it to the flimsy stage. This is a 3 X 4 layout and "HUGE". I learned a few things making this top. Utilizing rulers not used before; making things work. Remember - I did not have a pattern, just a black and white picture. So I met my goal of making this a flimsy this weekend. Whoop Whoop!
I think I would consider making a 2 X 3 for a lap size quilt. Great for quilters who have lot of scraps. Thanks to all my quilt buddies who keep me supplied with scraps. I like all the variety of colors and patterns.
What did you get done this weekend?

Eye Fooler Progress, Almost There
My sewing room is a total mess. Fabric everywhere. BUT I am loving this quilt. I cannot stop working on it.
I started the third column assembly and have most of the connecting blocks done, some blocks sewn together. I just ran out of energy today. So close.
I will definitely finish it tomorrow.
The heart quilt is displayed for February. I really enjoy seeing my quilts displayed. Sometimes I wonder "Did I really make that"?
Hope all the other bloggers who are making this quilt have progressed.

Nine of Twelve Finished
I am loving this quilt. It makes me happy to work on it. If all goes well maybe I can do three more blocks today. Then I will need to create all the in betweens and the border treatment.
Tinker Belle is contemplating how she will scrunch up the blocks LOL.

Assembly Fun!
I had so much fun sewing these units together today. I made 4 blocks. I placed connector pieces so that you could see how the blocks will play with each other and form that wonderful secondary pattern.
I spent several sewing sessions making the units for this block. All the 4 patches came from leaders and enders (which I have SO MANY and need to use more of them).
Tinker Belle is about to scrunch the blocks. If I leave a top on the floor she will bunch it up. She is definitely a quilt kitty as she loves to play in fabric. She will go into the backing cabinet and pull yardage out. Funny girl.

T-Shirt Quilt
Here is Judys T-Shirt quilt that I quilted last weekend. She wanted an overall meandering stitch. It's a large quilt. She and I were both happy with the end result.
Quilting on some of the T-Shirt materials was a little scary so I just slowed WAY down. The back is flannel and with cotton batting this quilt is heavy. My kind of quilt.

From Scraps to Top
or should I say a top from scraps. (blogger has done it again).
I forget who I got this bag of scraps from.... All Robin Pandolph fabric. I added the scrappy brown strips and border fabric. Now it's a generous top. It will be added to the others waiting for their call. I used almost all the scraps in this bag. What fun!!!
I think tomorrow I will work on the units for the eye fooler block.
