Spool Top

I finished sewing the spool rows together this morning.  The cats were having too much fun re-arranging them lol and I got tired of looking at the rows on the floor.


I thought 500 spools would be bigger than this...  I love it though.  Now borders or not?



I continued de stashing a bag of crumbs and strips today.  I'll have a final count tomorrow after I trim them.  I bet I have enough blocks for a quilt top.

    It doesn't need borders. I think it stands alone very well. But it would not detract to have borders, IMHO, if you want to make it larger.
