That is now quilted. I love how it came out.
North Carolina. Active quilter and long armer. If it’s scrappy I love it!

Fabric Organizing in the garage
Aka the fabric store lol.
I have been going through bins of fabric and folding all up right so I can see what I have... where did all this fabric come from???
I haven’t sewn much this weekend other than sewing a binding down and I don’t have a picture yet.
I caught this toad going from the fish pond to the breeding center of tadpoles. Between the two ponds they are breeding like there is no tomorrow lol.

I found some fabulous lights / lamps at The Dollar Tree. I had bought my GD one for her new desk. The more I thought about it, I should get myself a couple and I did. A black one and a white one. Made by Sunbeam!

More Bento Blocks
I have joined A Left Handed Quilter and Gene Black in making bento blocks. They are so fun and fast. I am using two inch strips as that container needs taming. The left over parts go to four patches.
I finally planted my bell pepper and tomato plants that have been growing in my downstairs window. I think all the freezing weather is over (I hope). This is the western North Carolina mountains.
And here are the zucchini and bean plants.
And the Romain lettuce.
This is the lettuce mix and spinach.
It’s really nice to go pick something from the garden to eat!

Orphan Quilt top #4 and more
Number four told me to make a small runner for my kitchen table.
This is as far as I got today on the next top. Still lots of blocks to use up.
And A left hand Quilter started playing with Bento Box blocks and I just had to join in...
It didn’t take long to make a few blocks. Mine are two inch strips. They are so much fun to make.

Orphan Quilt Block #3 the top
I worked on this today. I completed the white area so they would be complete. Then I was on to the in between red spike blocks. I thought small four patches would work. Lo and behold I had a bag of a suitable color and went to sewing them.
This where I left off yesterday.

The finished top.
I keep ready to sew four patches by my machines.
After being sewn and trimmed they go here in this container.
Sewn four patches are tossed here waiting for pressing and trimming.

Orphan Block Quilt #3 (partial)
This is today’s effort. I drove to get one of my machines from the spa. It’s an hour each way so my sewing time was cut short and my back was acting up.
I’m not quite sure what I am going to do to finish. I think I want to complete those white areas. I can show off some free motion quilting in them. Tomorrow’s is new day!

Hope you have taken time today to feed your sewing addition.

Rainbow top finished
I finished this top today and then spent a couple hours in the garage arranging my fabrics.
I do believe I need to purge some. There is just too much. Did I just say that?

Playing with a rainbow!
Hi everybody. Hope you are safely tucked in your home.
I spent last weekend with my son and family in SC. We knocked out some kitchen cabinet cleaning in addition to enjoying each other’s company. It was my GD’s 14th birthday. How did that happen?
So that last few days I started the sew along with Pat Sloan, creating the rainbow quilt. I am enjoying this quilt so much that I might finish the top tomorrow.
And I have cut flowers from my garden to cheer up my dining room table.
