I found this neat pattern in a churn dash book and you guessed it, it uses 2.5 inches squares. All the components are done just need to sew it together.
North Carolina. Active quilter and long armer. If it’s scrappy I love it!

Still Using 2.5 inch Squares

Lots of Stitching Going On!
I have been busy cutting and sewing. I also started sewing nine patch blocks out of lots of 2.5 inch blocks. I have been cutting them for a long time. I’ve barely made a dent in the amount of these blocks.
Enjoy the new set of kid quilt tops. With the addition of these I must bind the quilted ones. There is about a dozen just waiting.

Orphan Blocks to Medallion Quilt Tops
In an effort to use up cut off fabric strips from quilted tops, I am using orphan blocks as a start and then adding rounds of stripping. All very different and beautiful. I can see children looking for hours at the fabrics and having a blast. Enjoy!

Love Quilts
I’ve been chipping away at the pile of love quilts to be quilted. I got the tool to unlock my motors and away I went.

Quilting Update
I have lost some quilting mojo as of late. That may be from not feeling well and/or my long arm being serviced or both.
Did get my long arm Maxine back from the spa and she proceeded to have a connection issue with the USB ports. After help from A we determined that the circuit board is bad. She got on the phone with HQ and a new one is on its way. With shipping the way it is I might get it next Friday or not. Anyway I can still quilt, using free motion so that is what I’ll be doing. Maybe some ruler work.
This one was done with the motors still engaged so not as smooth. Some child will absolutely love it! I finished sewing the binding down this afternoon.

My Update
My last three months have not been easy. Colitis has had me in the bathroom. I have had a CT scan and a colonoscopy. Preliminary diagnosis is microscopic colitis and so far I have been directed to stop taking my arthritis medication. It has helped tremendously. This is when you find out that the arthritis medicine really does work. Ugh but I manage to make it through each day and have my accomplishments.
Yesterday I turned in four children quilts ready for giving. Here is one. I used a zig zag digital quilt pattern and so fine thread.
